In the hidden ruins of Castra Sanguinarius, Tarzan is summoned to defend a forgotten Roman outpost from the relentless T'Ang Khan. In "Jakten på Nuh," Tarzan teams up with Victoria Custer, who claims to have fallen for a prehistoric man named Nuh. When she leads him to the cave where they first met, the pair are swept into a hidden Stone Age realm, where they face a bloodthirsty tribe of ape-men before finding Nuh and his people. After a volcanic eruption leaves Tarzan unconscious, he awakens to find Victoria gone—only to discover a haunting cave painting that speaks volumes.

In the heart of the jungle, a new tyrant rises—Kung Alfadin, whose brutal rule drives people from their homes. Tarzan, captured and imprisoned, escapes into the deep woods, where he finds refuge among the peaceful pygméerna and the reclusive botanikern Charnley. Though both seek only to stay out of conflict, when Alfadin’s men track Tarzan to their sanctuary, Charnley must choose between silence and action to protect them all.
