The Court of Owls looms large in this June 2013 New 52 chapter of DC's Talon — Guillem March's cover depicts a battered, armored figure collapsed on the ground, bloodied and apparently overwhelmed, while a crowd of owl-masked figures in formal attire stands over him in silent judgment. The tagline "The Court of Owls Commands…" sets a genuinely ominous tone, leaving little doubt that Calvin Rose is in a very desperate place. With Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV steering the story under the title "Revelations," this issue promises the kind of high-stakes tension that made this series such a compelling corner of the New 52.
