Tales of the Thing #2

The second chapter of this 2005 Marvel limited series drops the Thing and the Hulk right into a Hollywood brawl, palm trees swaying in the background as the two powerhouses trade blows with the famous sign visible behind them. Randy Green's pencils and Rick Ketcham's inks give both bruisers a satisfying physical weight — Ben Grimm's rocky orange hide pressing against the Hulk's green fury in a clash that practically leaps off the cover. With Brandon Thomas and Michael O'Hare among the creative talents on board, "Widescreen" promises the kind of larger-than-life action its title implies.
