Swords of Sorrow #4

Gail Simone and Sergio Dávila's crossover event reaches its penultimate chapter with issue four of six, and the cover by Tula Lotay captures the gathering storm beautifully — a looming, bird-skulled villain dominates the background while four women warriors converge in the foreground: a masked swordswoman, a dark-haired fighter amid flames, a masked heroine in shadow, and a bold figure in red wielding twin pistols. It's a striking assembly of Dynamite's pulp heroines bracing against something genuinely threatening, rendered in Lotay's painterly, atmospheric style.
