This collection reprints the earliest adventures of the Swamp Thing from the 1970s, including his debut in House of Secrets #92 and the first issues of his original ongoing series. It covers the character's initial horror-oriented stories by writer Len Wein and artist Bernie Wrightson, before the later Alan Moore era redefined the series.
