Swamp Thing issue #15 kicks off "Healing the Breach" with a quietly powerful cover by Enrique Breccia — a looming, moss-textured Swamp Thing faces a calm, fair-haired man beneath a hazy crimson moon, their locked gazes suggesting something more complex than confrontation. The watercolor-like atmosphere Breccia brings to this 2005 Vertigo series gives the whole image an almost dreamlike tension, making the title "The Emotional Hostage" feel entirely apt. Joshua Dysart's run continues to promise thoughtful, character-driven storytelling that earns its place on the Vertigo shelf.
