Swamp Thing #15

Scott Snyder and Marco Rudy's "Rotworld: The Green Kingdom Part Three" reaches its third chapter here, and the cover by Yanick Paquette sets a genuinely unsettling stage. A massive, plant-armored Swamp Thing looms over the crumbling Gothic architecture of a ruined Gotham, cradling what appears to be another figure in his arms beneath a smoldering orange sky — and the Bat-Signal burns in that sky as a grim, glowing reminder of what this city once was. The tagline "Who Will Run the Ruins of Gotham?" promises that the stakes in this corner of the New 52 have never felt higher.
