Superman / Wonder Woman #8

Wonder Woman stands front and center on Tony S. Daniel's cover, sword raised and expression fierce, her hair whipping behind her as she braces against towering threats on both sides — a monstrous, corrupted figure looming on the left and a dark, armored form lurking on the right, with what appears to be a transformed Superman's symbol visible between them. Part of the sprawling 2014 "Superman: Doomed" crossover, this second chapter of "Infected" sets up Diana as the defiant heart of the story, written by Charles Soule with inks by Matt Banning and Sandu Florea. It's a striking piece of New 52 storytelling that puts Wonder Woman's resolve front and center when things get their darkest.
