Superboy staunt nicht schlecht als er zur Hochzeit von Saturngirl und Blitzjunge in die Zukunft reist und sie total verändert vorfindet. Er scheint der Einzige zu sein, der etwas merkt. Die Welt ist im Krieg mit allen anderen Welten und ständig in Gefahr. Niemand glaubt dem Stählernen, dass etwas falsch läuft. Während der Hochzeit werden Blitzjunge und Saturngirl entführt. Die Legion spaltet sich in zwei Lager. Während die einen an Superboy glauben, halten die anderen an ihrem derzeitigen Anführer Wildfeuer fest.
