Professor Potter perfects an unsucessful invention of Lex Luthor's that switches a percentage of Superman's powers to Jimmy during a surprise birthday party for Jimmy. But he sets the machine improperly and Jimmy gets 100% of Superman's powers. Jimmy spends endless hours at Super-Speed re-wiring the machine to reverse the effects and return his powers to Superman.
