In "Blackout," Superman: Metropolis #8 delivers a tense, mind-bending escalation as Professor Killgrave manipulates Lena into confronting the fused consciousness of Sledge and Rebecca. With Teddy Kristiansen’s sharp art and José Villarrubia’s vivid colors, the issue builds a chilling atmosphere as Lena reclaims control—redirecting Killgrave’s plan, transferring her own mind into Rebecca, and sealing Sledge and Rebecca’s consciousness within the Tech, triggering a city-wide blackout. Ashley Wood’s striking cover captures the moment’s intensity, perfectly framing the story’s high-stakes psychological unraveling.
