☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis collection brings together the 2004 'Godfall' storyline from the Superman titles, written by Michael Turner, Joe Kelly, and Talent Caldwell. The story follows Superman as he is mysteriously transported to a strange world where he has no memory of his past and must uncover the truth about his identity and powers. The volume collects the issues from the Superman, Action Comics, and Adventures of Superman series that form this arc.
In "Part One" of Superman: Godfall, writer Joe Kelly and artist Michael Turner team up with Talent Caldwell on pencils and Jason Gorder on inks to launch a bold reimagining of Superman’s origins. Set on a Krypton where ordinary citizens and alien visitors clash over rights and freedoms, Kal-El lives as an ordinary man—until strange powers begin to surface, hinting at a past he can’t remember. The issue’s striking cover by Michael Turner captures the tension of a world on edge, with a haunting glimpse of the hero’s hidden destiny.
In "Part One" of *Superman: Godfall*, Clark Kent—known on Krypton as Kal-El—navigates a life of quiet normalcy on a world teetering between tradition and upheaval. As tensions rise between Kryptonians and alien residents, he begins to awaken to powers that feel both foreign and deeply familiar. With Lyla and Kon-Lar entering his life, and Basqat watching from the shadows, the truth of who he is starts to stir beneath the surface.
In "Part Two" of *Superman: Godfall*, Kal-El finds himself trapped in a surreal version of Kandor, where the familiar streets of his homeworld feel distorted and hostile. As he struggles to understand the strange powers surging through him, he encounters a group of unexpected figures—including Preus, Basqat, Shire, Jigsaw, and Kon-Lar—while Kelex watches from the shadows. The line between memory and reality blurs as Kal-El confronts a past he thought he’d left behind.
In "Part Four" of Superman: Godfall, Kal-El and Lyla navigate the fragile hope of escape from Kandor, with Preus in their midst—each carrying secrets that could unravel their fragile alliance. As Lyla wanders through a Metropolis she believes is Heaven, she grapples with visions of Superman not as a hero, but as a god, and wonders if her faith is salvation or delusion.
In "Part Five" of *Superman: Godfall*, Superman returns to Metropolis with the Kandorians, only to find Lyla locked in combat with Brainiac. As the truth behind Superman’s time spent living in Kandor begins to unfold, the fragile calm shatters when Preus launches a sudden assault.
