Superman and the Authority #2

Grant Morrison and Mikel Janín's second chapter of this 2021 miniseries assembles quite a lineup on its cover: a looming Superman presides over the group as Manchester Black, a dark-suited Batman with glowing red eyes, a red-haired woman in green, a powerfully built fighter in teal armor, two figures soaring through crackling lightning, a luminous glowing form, and what appears to be a massive, exposed-brain creature all crowd the composition. Janín's cover art balances cool confidence with genuine tension, giving each team member a distinct presence against that charged crimson sky. "One Soul at a Time" promises a story where Superman's unconventional new Authority is very much taking shape.
