Superman Adventures #15

Superman Adventures #15 brings a burst of animated-series charm straight to the page, with cover art by Rick Burchett and Terry Austin showing the Man of Steel grappling with a sweating, wide-eyed Bibbo — who happens to be clutching a bundle of dynamite while pleading, "Okay, just gimme a minute here…" It's a wonderfully tense yet comedic image that captures the series' knack for blending action with personality. Writer Mark Evanier joins the creative team for "Maximum Effort!," making this 1998 issue a fun pick for fans of the WB animated universe.
