From 1955 comes this delightful issue of DC's Superman, spotlighting everyone's favorite fifth-dimensional imp — Mr. Mxyzptlk — who appears on Al Plastino's cover wearing a firefighter's hat and playing a magic horn, with musical notes streaming out as a fire hose seemingly dances to his tune. Superman soars in the background, cape billowing, while a burning building and fire truck set the chaotic scene, all teased by the cover headline "Mr. Mxyzptlk, Mayor of Metropolis!"
