Superman #699
In "Superman: Last Stand of New Krypton Part Eight: Irony in Ire," Superman, Zod, Supergirl, and the Legion unite aboard Brainiac’s ship to confront the alien menace head-on. As Supergirl and Brainiac 5 work to restore Kandor to New Krypton, Mon-El breaks free and takes on a new mission—rescuing bottled cities—while Projectra helps him reclaim his classic costume. Meanwhile, Luthor secretly boards the ship and begins enlarging a city, adding a dangerous twist to the escalating battle. Written by James Robinson and illustrated by Bernard Chang, with colors by Blond and letters by John J. Hill, the issue’s cover by Aaron Lopresti captures the chaos in striking detail.

Superman, Zod and his army, Supergirl, and the Legion are all fighting Brainiac on his ship. Supergirl and Brainiac 5 take Kandor back to New Krypton and re-enlarge it. Mon-El escapes from his captivity, and is given the assignment of saving particular bottled cities, and asks Projectra to change his costume back to his old one. And Luthor sneaks aboard and enlarges one city while still in the ship.
