A B-movie director builds a robot prop out of junk and plans to use it in his new flick; a Kandor scientific experiment goes wrong and the robot becomes alive and dangerous. Superman and Green Arrow fight this "junkman", as the Atom, from Kandor, watches powerless the robot trying to destroy the bottle city.
