“Is Superman Going... Going... Gone?”

The cover of Superman #360 poses a genuinely unsettling question: why is a firing squad of Supermen blasting the real Man of Steel? Ross Andru and Dick Giordano's cover depicts a defiant Superman at center, arms raised, taking multiple energy blasts from identical duplicates surrounding him on all sides as he taunts them with "Keep firing! Kill me… if you can!" As an added bonus, a corner inset teases a backup tale set on the fabulous world of Krypton, making this 1981 issue a satisfying double dose of the Superman mythos.
