Part four of "Imperius Lex" arrives with a cover by Patrick Gleason that makes an immediate, unsettling impression: Superman seated on a stone throne, cape draped heavily to either side, his expression grimly resolute rather than triumphant — with human skulls scattered across the rubble at his feet and a cracked, fiery world exploding behind him. The imagery deliberately subverts everything comfortable about the Man of Steel, suggesting a hero pushed into a dark and consequential place.
