Superman #307
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFew covers from 1977 land with quite this much raw shock — Superman stands horrified amid a cascade of shattered glass and ruined miniature cityscape, crying out "Supergirl — have you gone mad?" while a towering Supergirl looms over him, her boots and costume bloodied, as the dialogue declares she has smashed the Bottle City of Kandor and killed seven million people. Neal Adams delivers a masterfully staged image of scale and dread, contrasting the Man of Steel's helpless anguish against Supergirl's colossal, impassive presence. Writer Gerry Conway and interior artist José Luis García-López (inked by Frank Springer) bring the story "Krypton — No More!" to life inside, making this one of the more unsettling Superman issues DC published that year.
