Superman #265
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSomething has gone terribly wrong for the Man of Steel — cover artist Nick Cardy depicts Superman captured and dangling helplessly in the grip of a squad of military soldiers, one of whom declares, "We have met the enemy — and he is ours!" The story title "Attack by the Army of Tomorrow!" promises a clash between the world's most powerful hero and a futuristic fighting force, with writer Elliot S! Maggin and interior artist Curt Swan (inked by Murphy Anderson) delivering the action within. This July 1973 issue is a striking example of DC's Bronze Age Superman at his most vulnerable — and most intriguing.
