In "O Time dos Sonhos," Superman shares with Batman how a recent case exposed the fractures in the JLA caused by his past actions. When the team splits to handle three emergencies, they each confront Dr. Destiny—only to realize they’re facing his dream self, whose surreal logic has bled into reality. As the Manhunter intervenes to ground them, the heroes must work together to awaken Dr. Destiny and restore balance. With trust slowly returning, Batman calls the rest of the JLA, and as they gather in their civilian forms, the moment is sealed when the Batman enters the cave.
