While rescuing a bathyscaph from the ocean bottom where it rests next to a Red Kryptonite meteor, Superman remembers all the other times that Red Kryptonite has affected him in unpredictable ways. This time it causes his hair, beard and nails to grow uncontrollably, and it takes the combined efforts of Supergirl and Krypto to clean him up.
