Supergirl: Way of the World #[nn]

In "Way of the World, Part Two," Supergirl enlists the help of the reformed Doctor Luzano to find a cure for a young boy’s cancer using Tektites—only for Luzano to seize the power for himself and turn on her and Resurrection Man. After a fierce battle, Supergirl manages to subdue him and carries the injured Resurrection Man to safety, hoping his latest ability might still save the boy. But their hope is shattered when Superman intercepts them with a devastating truth: the boy has already died.

In a parallel future where hope is measured in lost time, Supergirl grapples with the weight of a promise made to Maureen and Henry Price—to bring their son Tommy back. As she confronts the limits of heroism and the echoes of past failures, even the presence of Superman and a mysterious Green Lantern from Krall can't ease the ache of what’s been lost.
