As Brainiac 5 tries with his invention, the chronexus, to help Supergirl find a way back to her time, they view alternate versions of Superman before finding her Superman. They witness some of the major incidents of his life before seeing Supergirl's arrival on Earth and Superman's admission to Lois that it's great to have a family again. They continue to view events in Supergirl and Superman’s lives, now extending into Supergirl’s future, including a battle with Blackstar. With the chronexus, Brainiac 5 is able to briefly send Supergirl’s mind into the past to allow her to help her cousin.
