Supergirl #18
Two versions of Supergirl — both in the classic blue-and-red costume, capes billowing against a gleaming cityscape backdrop — face off in this August 2007 issue, with the bold "Supergirl vs. Supergirl" headline leaving little doubt that a clash is on the horizon. The cover art by Alé Garza (pencils) and Marlo Alquiza (inks), colored by Rod Reis, crackles with dynamic energy as the two figures lunge toward each other mid-flight, fists raised and expressions fierce. With Joe Kelly on writing duties and the evocative story title "Little Miss Perfect," this is a compelling chapter in one of DC's most intriguing runs of the era.
