De um lado a cidade de Athos é onde a luxúria é vista nas torres de ouro e marfim, nas joias dos nobres. Do outro Zotoz, a miséria, a pobreza das pessoas que convivem com o fardo da escravidão da cidade vizinha. Todos os anos realizam-se os jogos entre as cidades, porém qualquer vencedor do lado de Zotoz é imediatamente morto a mando da rainha de Athos. Agora Zotoz terá uma nova adversária - Sonja, que quer acabar com essa injustiça.
