Super-Villain Team-Up #14
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFew covers from 1977 capture megalomaniacal ambition quite like this one — a towering Dr. Doom, cape spread wide, proclaims himself Earth's true master while Captain America, the Vision, Thor, and a crowd of other Marvel heroes are forced to their knees before him. The cover art by John Byrne and Terry Austin crackles with tension, framing Doom's contemptuous declaration that Magneto has dared challenge him with all the grandeur the self-styled ruler of the world deserves. With "Doom Supreme!" blazoned across the cover and Bill Mantlo scripting the interior, this is the kind of issue that reminds you why this series had such a deliciously audacious premise.
