Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Robin, and several of their fellow Super Friends are shown tumbling helplessly through the air as a villain's device threatens to hurl them into space — and the cover's alarming dialogue warns that Earth itself may not survive. Ramona Fradon and Bob Smith deliver a wonderfully chaotic cover scene full of outstretched arms and wide-eyed panic, capturing the sense of a team completely at the mercy of a threat called Grax. This November 1980 issue also boasts eight extra pages and kicks off a new backup series starring the Seraph, billed right on the cover as "the man who could work miracles.
