Four of the Angry Birds have gone full superhero — and they mean business. The cover showcases a muscular grey-and-brown bird looming large in the background, while three bird heroes strike dynamic poses up front: a trench-coated yellow bird, a fiery flame-wreathed yellow bird, and a lean red bird at center, all radiating the kind of team-assembled energy that recalls classic 1980s superhero squad covers. IDW and Rovio Books teamed up in 2015 to deliver this fun mashup of the beloved mobile game characters and four-color superhero tradition, with Parker, Randall, and Colwell lending the whole thing a genuinely energetic visual punch.
