Sun #166 is an anthology comic featuring several stories. "Moko the Mischievous Monk" is a wordless comic strip in which Moko and a blue bird engage in slapstick antics involving a balloon and papers. "The Joker's Fun Page" invites readers to submit jokes for publication and prizes, featuring humorous illustrated gags about sending rocks through mail, embezzlement, and travel mishaps. "My Pal Wagger" follows the adventures of a boy named Ned and his dog Wagger as they encounter the magician Marcoff at a circus fair and become entangled in a theft of pearl necklaces. "Tommy's Magic Whistle" presents a story about Mr. Bodger, an odd-job man, who uses a magical whistle to control the schoolmaster and other authority figures, ultimately helping the headmaster see reason by mimicking his behavior.
