Sun #165 is an anthology comic featuring "Moko the Mischievous Monk," a nine-panel comic strip in which the red-faced monkey character engages in slapstick antics involving a blue figure and a birdcage. The issue also includes "My Pal Wagger," a prose story about two gypsies, Ned and his dog Wagger, who encounter a stranded lorry driver and uncover a theft involving cigarettes and cardboard along a country road. Additionally, the issue contains "Tommy's Magic Whistle," a story about a boy named Tommy who uses a magical whistle to change the mind of the Headmaster of St. Stephen's School, ultimately causing mischief that lands the Headmaster in trouble. The back matter includes "The Joker's Fun Page," a humor section inviting readers to submit jokes for publication and prizes.
