Suicide Squad #33
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe tagline says it all — "Apokolips Now!" — and the cover by John K. Snyder III and Karl Kesel delivers on that promise with a Squad member in a green hawk-suit brandishing a jagged blade, a blue-and-white striped figure raising what looks like a lit torch, and two more teammates scrambling atop a surface buried under wild vines and foliage. It's a vivid, kinetic snapshot of a team clearly in way over their heads on a very unfriendly world. John Ostrander's 1989 run was pushing the Squad into corners few superhero books dared explore, and "Into the Angry Planet" looks like no exception.
