Suicide Squad #3
This collection continues the Rebirth era of the Suicide Squad, following Amanda Waller's team of incarcerated super-villains on black-ops missions. In 'Burning Down The House,' the Squad faces internal betrayal and a catastrophic threat that could level their base of operations, testing the fragile alliances among its deadly members. Written by Rob Williams, this volume collects issues from the 2017 series, blending explosive action with the dark humor and moral ambiguity that define the team.
In "Burning Down the House Part 1: Life Inside," the Suicide Squad is reeling after Amanda Waller’s removal from command, with Harcourt now in charge as they launch raids on Russian bases in pursuit of the Annihilation Brigade. While Flag pushes for shore leave and Hack deciphers encrypted data that hints at a mole within the team, Rustam escapes from Blackgate Penitentiary, setting off a chain of tensions that tests the Squad’s fragile cohesion. Written by Rob Williams and brought to life by John Romita Jr. with inks by Richard Friend, colors by Dean White, and letters by Pat Brosseau, this issue’s cover by Romita Jr. and Friend captures the squad’s uneasy shift in power.
