Sugar & Spike #62
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis January 1965 DC gem promises a holiday treat as Sugar and Spike — the beloved baby duo who speak their own secret language — apparently cross paths with Santa Claus himself, whose sleigh troubles have led him straight down a chimney. Sheldon Mayer's cover art captures the delightful chaos perfectly: on one side, a wide-eyed Sugar and Spike watch a bewildered Santa squeezed into the fireplace beside a small Christmas tree; on the other, the tots go careening down a snowy slope in what appears to be a runaway sled, with one hollering "You're doing the driving!" Also promised inside are pint-size cut-out Christmas cards and another skirmish with the perennial troublemaker Little Arthur — quite a full package for twelve cents.
