“Years of Glory -- Day of Doom!”

In "Years of Glory -- Day of Doom!", Namor's mind drifts beneath the ice as he recalls his mother Princess Fen’s fateful encounter with Captain McKenzie and his youth in Atlantis. Written by Roy Thomas and brought to life with dynamic art by John Buscema, inks by Frank Giacoia, and letters by Sam Rosen, this issue unfolds as Namor, once defeated by Destiny and exiled to New York, awakens in the Bowery as a forgotten wanderer—until Johnny Storm stumbles upon him and sparks the return of his lost memories. The cover, penciled by Buscema and inked by Sol Brodsky, captures the moment of his awakening.
