Outside the hotel, Dex, Isabel, and Charlotte encounter Dill and Whale. Isabel takes Charlotte and Dex's car, leaving Dex to escape on her own. Dex takes Isabel's car. Isabel agrees to meet with Dex to get her car back. She reveals Oscar had been using his relationship with Charlotte to target archaeological dig sites to steal tribal artifacts. When she found out, she hid from Oscar. Oscar, and henchmen Dill and Whale, are trying to find and kill Charlotte. Hector wants to clean up Oscar's mess. Isabel wants to protect her friend Charlotte, but also to show up Oscar and impress her father.
