Brock Jones moves his family to the quiet town of Clairton to get away from the Rocketeers who are after his alter ego, the Torpedo. Brock observes Rom flying over the city and mistakes him for an enemy. Rom battles the Torpedo but the two come to an understanding and Rom asks the new hero in town to help in his battle against the Dire Wraiths.
