In "Voyage en enfer !..", the Spaceknights face a moral reckoning when Terminator is tried for executing a planetary ruler during a campaign against the Dire Wraiths. Choosing death over exile, his execution is carried out—only for the Glowing Globe of Power to mysteriously teleport him away at the last moment, a twist orchestrated by the malevolent Mentus. Heartbroken by the loss, Rom decides to leave Galador and the Spaceknights, striking out alone to confront the Wraiths. Written by Bill Mantlo and illustrated by Sal Buscema with inks by Joe Sinnott and colors by Ben Sean, this issue features a cover by Jean Frisano.

Terminator is put on trial for rashly killing the ruler of a world where the Spaceknights were ferreting out Dire Wraiths. Terminator chooses death rather than banishment and his sentence is carried out. Little do the Spaceknights know that as Terminator is being consumed by the Glowing Globe of Power, he is teleported away at the last instant by the evil Mentus. Disheartened by the destruction of his friend, Rom decides to leave Galador and the Spaceknights to battle Wraiths on his own.
