The banner says it all — Stormwatch Prime returns — and Scott Clark's cover pencils (inked by Trevor Scott) make the announcement with real visual force. A massively built figure in a red-and-white suit dominates the foreground, flanked by a dark-haired, wild-eyed teammate and a purple-haired warrior, while several bound captives hang ominously in the smoky background. Brandon Choi and the creative team were clearly swinging for high stakes in this February 1994 Image series, and this cover sets the mood with confident, kinetic energy.
