The third chapter of Warren Ellis's "Strange Weather" arc arrives in this December 1997 Image issue, with a cover by Bryan Hitch (pencils) and Paul Neary (inks) that crackles with kinetic energy. Five Stormwatch members surge forward in an urgent charge — a green-skinned, energy-wreathed figure and a goggled woman launch from above, while an armored, red-eyed cyborg looms at center, flanked by a dark-haired young woman and a grey-haired brawler throwing a fierce punch in the foreground. It's a striking ensemble shot that sets the stakes perfectly for what promises to be a charged conclusion to the arc.
