Chip Zdarsky and Ramón K. Pérez's Stillwater continues its unsettling run with this third chapter, and the cover alone makes a powerful case for the series. Pérez renders a massive, monstrous face — mouth stretched wide and lined with jagged teeth, splashed in vivid red — while a small, screaming human figure appears caught within that cavernous maw, the whole image drenched in deep blues by colorist Mike Spicer that make the crimson violence pop with real dread. It's the kind of cover that stops you cold in the rack and reminds you why horror comics hit differently when the craft is this sharp.
