Part two of the five-part "What Are Little Boys Made Of?" arc, this November 1994 Milestone/DC issue subtitled "A Knight to Remember" features a striking cover by penciler Wilfred Santiago and inker Prentis Rollins — a wildly decorated carousel horse charges forward as a startled child clings to it, while a visored figure in the foreground recoils in alarm, and a masked face peers down from the top of the cover. The carnival chaos of the scene gives the whole thing a disorienting, anything-but-fun-fair energy that perfectly suits a superhero story with a darkly playful edge. Static's ongoing Milestone run continues to deliver inventive visual storytelling, and this mid-arc installment looks like no ordinary trip around the merry-go-round.
