From DC's Milestone imprint in 1994, this twelfth issue of Static carries the subtitle "Auto D-Struct!" and features a striking cover by Shawn Martinbrough. The cover looms with a massive, menacing mechanical figure at its center — a glowing orange core blazing in its chest — while a grinning, hooded figure and a wide-eyed man are caught in the foreground, a gun barrel pressing into the scene with real tension. Up in the header strip, Static himself crackles with electromagnetic energy, a reminder of the electrifying hero at the heart of this Milestone series.
