Startling Comics #43

Startling Comics #43 is an anthology featuring The Fighting Yank as the main character. In one story, a man discovers a valuable solid gold bowl made from old Roman coins and plans to use it to lure and eliminate rivals, but his scheme is thwarted. Another story follows Dick Martin, who becomes the only Pyroman, using his mental powers to stop a flying bomb by directing it toward water and a boulder dam. The issue also includes the humor strip Curly and various advertisements and filler content typical of 1947 comic books.
