Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #12

Tied into the galaxy-spanning "War of the Bounty Hunters" crossover, this 2021 issue puts Doctor Aphra front and center alongside the unmistakable armor of Boba Fett — both armed and clearly in the middle of something that's gone sideways fast. Looming behind them is a large alien figure dangling what appears to be a small creature overhead, while shadowy onlookers crowd the edges of the frame in a cover rendered with real tension and energy by Sara Pichelli. Alyssa Wong's run continues to find Aphra in the worst possible company, and "Party Tricks" promises that whatever scheme she's working, the guest list just got a lot more dangerous.
