Star Wars #12
Part six of the "Outlander" arc wraps up with a striking cover by Ken Kelly — a pale, dual-lightsaber-wielding warrior faces off against a cloaked, lightsaber-armed figure against a fiery, storm-swept sky. The tension between these two combatants crackles with intensity, making this a satisfying visual conclusion to a six-part story. Tim Truman's script, brought to life by artist Al Rio with inks by Mark Heike and Mark Lipka and colors by Dave McCaig, closes out one of Dark Horse's more compelling Star Wars chapters from 1999.
