Part Three of "The Tabukan Syndrome" arrives in this 1992 DC entry in Howard Weinstein and Gordon Purcell's run on the classic franchise. The cover, penciled by Rod Whigham and inked by Jerome Moore, drops us into a scene of crisis on an alien world — a determined older man in a red jacket raises his fist defiantly while kneeling over a group of fallen, unconscious figures, as a second figure watches from behind and angular alien architecture fills the smoky skyline above streaking green spacecraft. It's a striking tableau of urgency and defiance that makes this multi-part story hard to set aside.
