The Guardian leaps dynamically through a window in his distinctive green-and-gold costume while below him an armed villain in a hat menaces the room, as the grinning Newsboy Legion boys cheerfully display gleaming pearls on trays, seemingly delighted by the chaos unfolding around them. It's a wonderfully lively snapshot of postwar superhero adventure at its ten-cent best.
