“The House Where Time Stood Still”

In "The House Where Time Stood Still," a mysterious abandoned home in 1943 becomes the center of a wartime mystery when the Presby brothers vanish—locked away for over two decades to escape both World War I and World War II. With the Guardian and a local investigator on the case, the truth behind their isolation unfolds, revealing a hidden danger that could aid the enemy. Written by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, with art by Kirby and inks by Arturo Cazeneuve, this wartime tale blends suspense and wartime paranoia, all wrapped in a striking cover by Fred Ray.

Citizens are very concerned that the Presby brothers haven't been seen in over 25 years, so the boys and the Guardian investigate, only to learn that they locked themselves in their home to avoid contact with World War 1 and now World War 2. However, that plays right into the hands of a couple of Nazi spies who intend to use their home as a secret Nazi radio station to contact submarines.
